Privacy Policy — Block Cascade

Last updated: 16 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Block Cascade game (the “Game”) handles, why, and the rights you have. We designed the Game to collect as little personal data as possible — there is no account, and your game progress never leaves your device.

1. Who we are (data controller)

The Game is developed and published by Zyndots Games Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”), which is the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. For any privacy question, use the contact above.

2. No account required to play

You can play Block Cascade without creating an account or signing in. The Game does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information in order to play.

3. Information stored on your device

Your game progress and preferences — including level progress, scores, daily streaks, in-game Coin balance, achievements, and settings — are stored locally on your device only. This data is not transmitted to us and is not associated with your identity.

To help this on-device data survive reinstalling the Game, it may be included in your device’s standard system backup (Android Auto Backup with your Google account, or iCloud on iOS). That backup is controlled by you and your device platform, not by us, and is governed by Google’s or Apple’s privacy policies. Removing the Game and clearing its backup deletes this data.

4. Advertising

The Game is funded by advertising provided by Google AdMob. It shows a banner ad and optional rewarded video ads — rewarded ads are never forced; you choose to watch them in exchange for an in-game benefit.

To serve, cap, secure, and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process data such as device identifiers (for example, an advertising ID), IP address, general location derived from the IP address, and ad-interaction information. Depending on your region and your choices, this data may be used for personalized or non-personalized advertising.

For details on how Google uses this data see Google’s Privacy & Terms and AdMob’s data disclosure. We do not ourselves receive or store this advertising data.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

ProcessingLegal basis
Personalized advertising Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), collected through the in-Game consent request. You may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
Non-personalized advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention and security Our and Google’s legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in funding the Game and keeping advertising safe and functional, limited to what is necessary. Where you decline consent, only non-personalized ads are shown.
Processing your in-app purchases Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), carried out by the Apple App Store or Google Play.

6. International data transfers

We do not transfer personal data ourselves. However, Google AdMob and its partners operate globally and may process advertising data in countries outside the EEA, the UK, or your country of residence, including the United States. Where Google does so, it relies on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See Google’s advertising data-transfer information for details.

7. Data retention

Because game data is stored only on your device (§3), it remains until you delete it by uninstalling the Game and clearing its system backup. We do not hold copies.

Advertising data is retained by Google and its partners for the periods described in their own privacy policies; we have no access to it and do not control those retention periods. Any support email you send us is kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

8. Information we do not collect

9. Children

The Game is suitable for general audiences but is not directed to children and is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the Game is not registered in any “kids” or “families” program. Consistent with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws, if you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Your privacy rights — EEA, UK & Switzerland

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding personal data processed about you, subject to the conditions in the GDPR / UK GDPR:

Because we do not hold your data ourselves, the most effective way to exercise advertising-related choices is through the in-Game consent controls (§4), your device’s advertising settings, or directly with Google. You may also contact us at the address in §1 and we will help where we can.

11. Your privacy rights — California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you rights regarding your personal information. In the past 12 months, the only category of personal information involved in the Game is identifiers and internet activity used for advertising (for example, an advertising ID, IP address, and ad-interaction data), collected and processed by Google AdMob as described in §4.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing personalized advertising may qualify as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. You can opt out of this “sharing” by declining personalized-ads consent through the in-Game privacy controls (§4) or your device’s advertising settings; the Game also honors applicable opt-out preference signals where supported.

As a California resident you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in §1.

12. Your privacy rights — other regions

Privacy laws in other jurisdictions — including other U.S. states, Canada (PIPEDA), Brazil (LGPD), and elsewhere — grant comparable rights such as access, correction, and deletion. Wherever you live, you may contact us at the address in §1 to ask about the personal data involved in the Game, and we will respond as required by the law that applies to you.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected in the Game’s store listing update notes. Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
